In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to our campaign for Senate. Please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.

This month, we set our biggest fundraising goal ever, 200,000 contributions, and we need to make sure we hit this goal because Mitch McConnell has pledged to spend millions on ads in Arizona against me and our campaign.

He has the money to keep these ads running right up until Election Day and we can't afford to let his attacks on us go unanswered -- we need to set the record straight.

Which is why I'm hoping that we can get 6,500 donations today, which is the number of donations we need every day this month to stay on track and hit our goal. So what do you say, John?
