Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a trailblazer, a progressive champion, and the ultimate advocate for women's rights. Her legacy and decisions led the way to doors opening for women like me and, more importantly, my daughters.

Justice Ginsburg was both fierce and methodical; she knew that the work of government requires both a drive for change and the immense patience and fortitude to stick with a fight for years or decades.  America was lucky to have her and she will be deeply missed.

Today we mourn; tomorrow we organize, we fundraise, and we vote!
