We're in the final stretch of our peer-to-peer fundraiser commemorating
Zero Emissions Day 2020!
Tomorrow (September 21st) is Zero Emissions Day and also the final day of our fundraising campaign. We're so very close to meeting our goal of $2000. It's not too late to help us reach or even surpass our target.
If you would like to pitch in and boost our final fundraising numbers, visit our Zero Emissions Day Fundraiser campaign page, choose an individual campaigner, and then donate to help them reach their personal fundraising goal.
Or your can simply donate to 350 Chicago - choose either your one-time donation or monthly donation amount. Chipping in even a small amount will help us in our work.
For those already fundraising for us in this ZE Day campaign, it's time to make your final calls for donations on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Feel free to repost earlier appeals or take advantage of the sample posts in our social media tool kit.
The team here at 350 Chicago works hard all year to champion climate advocacy for the Chicagoland area: from promoting divestment of the City of Chicago from fossil fuels (through our own City Divestment Campaign) to furthering the transition to 100% clean energy (through participation in the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition and support of the Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA) as well as the Ready for 100 Campaign) to educating the public on climate change issues and solutions (through our newsletters, blog posts, film screenings, and monthly meeting presentations) and much more. It's a lot for any volunteer group, and we do it gladly. But we couldn't do any of it without your support.
We appreciate all of the effort of our fundraising campaign volunteers in making this inaugural peer-to-peer fundraiser such a success. And to all of our donors, we offer many, many thanks for your generous contributions to date.
Let's finish big tomorrow!
