Friend --

I know it’s been an incredibly difficult 24 hours, so I wanted to take a moment to talk about where we are right now.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an icon, a trailblazer, and one of the greatest people to ever grace our nation. Her death is a loss that will be felt for decades, and her life is one that will be celebrated for generations to come.

I wish this was a moment where we could take time to mourn, but it appears Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell are rushing to replace Justice Ginsburg as we speak. That means our work has never been more important.

Not only do we have to win single-digit races like mine in Colorado to end Mitch McConnell’s Senate majority, but we have to fight back with everything we’ve got to save the Supreme Court and all the progress we’ve made. There is too much — health care, reproductive rights, civil rights, and more — on the line.

So, I’m asking:

Please split $5 or more between our grassroots campaign and the DSCC. Any amount makes a huge difference in helping our team flip this Senate seat in Colorado and stopping Republicans from controlling Supreme Court appointments:

The Senate must not confirm a new Supreme Court Justice until after a new President is sworn in next year. Senator Gardner must uphold the commitment he set more than four years ago and allow the President elected in November to make this decision.

Thank you so much.

John

He's a proven problem solver who's expanded access to health care, fought climate change, and stood up to the NRA. And with so much at stake, John is counting on your help to fend off Mitch McConnell and Cory Gardner's attacks and flip this high-priority seat from red to blue.
