Below, I have our September campaign update and I can't wait for you to read about all the great things we are doing on the behalf of hardworking families in Upstate New York. But first, I would like to honor and pay respect to an American hero we lost last evening.
As a pioneer on the Supreme Court and a fighter for justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg left a long-lasting mark on our country and our democracy. And in her honor, we pledge to continue the fight for civil liberties and freedoms for every American.
Voting in the 2020 General Election
New York Residents: the New York State Board of Elections just launched a new Electronic Absentee Ballot Application Portal where you can request your ballot online up until October 27! Just like in the primary election, voters can request an absentee ballot due to risk or fear of illness, including COVID-19.
If you are planning to vote in-person, either early or on Election Day:

The early voting period runs from Saturday, October 24, 2020 to Sunday, November 1, 2020, but dates and hours may vary based on where you live.

Voters who choose to vote in-person on Election Day can go to their designated polling location to cast their ballot between 6am and 9pm. To verify your polling location and hours of operation, please check the New York Board of Elections website here: https://voterlookup.elections.ny.gov
2020 Census
The deadline to fill out the 2020 Census is quickly approaching. Before September 30, please complete your census and ensure you are counted. Your answer will help shape the next decade of our government and resources that directly impact our community.
On the Campaign Trail
The fight Anthony is leading in Congress to secure good wages and bring back jobs to Upstate New York was born and built out of the hard work of our unions.
New York State is home to more than 1 million union workers, and we’re proud to have earned the endorsement of New York State AFL-CIO, CNY Labor Council, and SEIU 1199.
And recently, we earned the endorsement of the Communication Workers of America -- we are so excited to have their support for our campaign!
With 45 days until Election Day, volunteers on #TeamBrindisi have been working hard to help re-elect Anthony in November. During our Week of Action, this team made more than 20,000 calls to #NY22 voters! I’d like to give a special shout out to our top volunteer, Diane, and intern, Jade!
As we near the final days of this ultra-competitive race, it's our volunteers who will make the difference in our ability to reach every undecided voter in every county of this district.

The State of the Race
D.C. special interests continue to interfere in our race in order to swing the outcome of this election in the favor of Anthony’s GOP opponent, Claudia Tenney.
Upstate New Yorkers know first hand that Tenney is bad for this region, and we can’t have her back in Washington.
But party bosses with big influence over major super PACs are spending $10 MILLION dollars to ship staffers into districts including ours.
We have to stand against this kind of influence coming into our election, and we have to stand strong for our Upstate priorities. Can you chip in $5 or anything you can afford?
