Friend,
Last night I was devastated to learn of the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Justice Ginsburg was one of my heroes, as she was to so many Americans. In our home, we have RBG books, earrings, movies, even my favorite coffee mug. She was one of the first public figures I taught my daughter (and sons) about. She not only created a more equitable and safe work environment for women—she showed us how working mothers can change the world.
Today, we honor her legacy, show gratitude for her work, and reflect on the impact her life has had on us and on future generations.
We have tough fights ahead, and we must now continue her legacy by doing everything we can to protect women’s rights, civil rights, reproductive rights, and the rights of the most vulnerable among us. She never backed down, and neither will we.
Gratefully,
Alyse
