Greetings! 10 years ago today, when I was serving as a bomb technician under Joint Special Operations Command in the Army, my life changed forever. I lost both legs and a finger when a roadside bomb blew up beneath me while in the Kandahar region of Afghanistan. If it weren’t for the bravery and selflessness of my fellow soldiers, and the grace of God, I very well could have lost my life. What I remember most clearly from that day is my fellow soldiers sprinting towards the bomb instead of away from my motionless body. They rushed in the direction where an explosive device had just detonated, putting their own lives in danger to save mine. My team on the battlefield didn’t care about my political views, where I came from, how much money I had, or anything else. What mattered was that I was an American, and in the line of duty, these courageous soldiers put service before self to save my life. While I may have lost my ability to continue being an asset on the battlefield that day, I didn’t lose my drive to keep fighting for our amazing country. So, I learned to walk again, finished my education at Harvard and set my sights on a new battlefield: the halls of Congress. On this 10-year anniversary, can you help me win this latest battle for the future of our country? JOIN THE FIGHT Unfortunately, on this new battlefield in Congress, far too many politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez see it as red vs. blue instead of red, white and blue. They put themselves and their politics ahead of our country, instead of putting service before self like my fellow soldiers did 10 years ago today. My far-left opponent this year, Pam Keith, seems to agree with their hateful strategy of division. She talks about Democrats as being her “team” and derides Republicans as “traitors” to the United States of America. After losing two legs and a finger fighting for our nation, I will not sit idly by while she questions my loyalty to our nation! That’s why I’m fighting back with everything I’ve got to defend our nation against their hateful agenda, and I’m determined not to let that bomb 10 years ago hold me back in any way in this fight. So will you join me in turning a painful day 10 years ago into a positive one today? Instead of letting the bomb placed by radical Islamic terrorists keep us down, today we’re launching a “Money Bomb” for America! What does that even mean? Every supporter that joins our Money Bomb today commits to making a small donation now and then matching that donation at the end of the month when our campaign’s budget is tightest. This is the absolute best way you can join the fight right now to defend our country against the AOC/Pelosi/Keith agenda of inciting violence, attacking police and shaming proud Americans! If you are with me in the fight to defend our country, will you join our Alive Day Money Bomb now? DONATE $10 DONATE $20.20 DONATE $50 DONATE $150 DONATE ANOTHER AMOUNT Especially on this 10 year anniversary, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support in letting me continue my service to our country in Congress. My prosthetic legs may hold me back from serving on the battlefield in Afghanistan, but I will always serve you in Congress with everything I’ve got! Sincerely, SSG Brian Mast, U.S. Army (ret.)
