Friends,

Today, our country is mourning the loss of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the second woman to sit on the Supreme Court of the United States.

My heart is heavy, but my spirit is ignited.

Justice Ginsburg was a fierce lawyer, a champion for women’s rights and the rights of the disenfranchised, and an inspiration to us all.

She stood for truth, justice, and freedom.

She lived her life with meaning and purpose, and her memory is a blessing.

We have a tough road ahead, but her legacy lives on in those of us who continue to stand up and demand a voice for the voiceless — in those inspired and motivated to build a more equitable society that embraces our differences rather than demonizes them.

We all deserve a moment to rest, reflect, and mourn this great loss. We must prepare to honor the legacy of Justice Ginsburg by continuing her fight for a more equitable America and a better tomorrow.

- Abby
