John - I'm Jaime Harrison and I'm running to beat Republican Senator Lindsey Graham in South Carolina's Senate race that a brand new poll says is tied.

Here's the truth: Winning in South Carolina won't be easy. But no part of my life has been. Born to a 16-year-old single mother, I was never supposed to make it far. But I became the first in my family to graduate college, worked hard to earn leadership positions in Congress and became the first African American chair of the South Carolina Democratic Party.

And like you, I've seen Lindsey Graham put the Republican Party above country. I've seen him lead the charge to repeal affordable health care - all while leaving his constituents in rural communities like mine behind: South Carolina hospitals are closing, and 540,000 people are uninsured.
