Last night, we mourned and celebrated Ruth Bader Ginsburg — a trailblazer for equality and a giant in American history.

Today, we fight — because our nation’s future is on the line.

Mitch McConnell wasted no time last night announcing that he would advance a Supreme Court nomination by Donald Trump and shamelessly told his GOP colleagues to "keep their powder dry."

Earlier in the year, when McConnell should have been doing his job to stop the pandemic and fix our economy, he was “gleefully” telling Republican donors that “we’re getting our judge” should RBG pass away.

Look, I want to pause and mourn like everyone else. But we can’t. Mitch McConnell and his ghoulish cronies aren’t — and with equality and justice and health care and many more important issues on the ballot, we have to fight.
