Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg dedicated her life and career to fighting for justice, civil rights, and equality. The decisions she wrote have protected the environment and safeguarded the public interest from corporate and special interest greed. Her passing is a huge loss, and the impact of her work has fundamentally changed our nation for the better.

We are devastated. We are in mourning. We are also ready to continue the fight.

Mitch McConnell has already said he is willing to do whatever it takes to appoint another Trump-nominated Justice to the court. This about-face shows us yet again that he has no interest in upholding the precedent he set four years ago when he refused to even meet with Merrick Garland.
