Our nation experienced a profound loss last night. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a beacon of light and a force for justice. Her fight was our fight and her memory will not be forgotten. 

While today we mourn her passing, tomorrow we must continue to push for change so that all Americans are protected equally under the law.



It was Justice Ginsburg's final wish that she should not be replaced until we have a new president. We must do everything in our power to honor this request. Anything less is hypocritical and short-sighted.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, you changed this country for the better. Rest in power.
