Friend,

Last night, our nation not only lost a historic member of the highest court in our land but a trailblazer for women everywhere. From her passionate advocacy work on behalf of women to her nearly three decades on the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg served with grace and brilliance while fighting for equality and justice.

As some looked out for corporations and the powerful, she lifted up families and the most vulnerable. Her tireless work on the court protected and expanded women's rights, reproductive rights, voting rights, civil rights, and workers' rights. She helped make possible historic progress on LGBTQ+ equality, health care, immigration, the environment, and getting money out of politics. And she did all of this while never losing sight of what makes our nation great -- our inclusivity, our sense of justice, our commitment to equality and opportunity for ALL.

In honor of Justice Ginsburg's inspiring life, her powerful legacy, and her never ending pursuit for justice, let us continue her work. That means being fully committed to making our country more equal, more fair, and more just. But it also means honoring her by going all out in our organizing efforts every single day until the election so we achieve the highest voter turnout in history.

If we do that, we will turn out voters who support women's rights and equal rights, civil rights and voting rights, LGBTQ+ rights and immigrant rights. That is essential. It could not be more clear that this is the most important election in recent memory -- everything really is on the line.

Will you pitch in your first donation of $5 today to support our organizing program so we can reach voters in must-win races across Washington and throughout the country? We're counting on grassroots supporters like you to help fuel our new Our Vote, Our Power, Our Country volunteer efforts that will help win make-or-break races. [link removed]

We will honor Justice Ginsburg by fighting for health care, abortion rights, equality, racial justice, the environment, economic opportunity, and an end to discrimination. As one of only 79 women of color to have ever served in the United States Congress, I am fully committed to continuing the legacy of this beloved shero. And I am committed to making sure women across America can blaze their own trails, that they are never held back on the basis of sex -- or any identity.

Can I count on you to join me at this urgent moment? Make a grassroots donation of $5 today to ensure our people-first organizing program has the resources it needs to turn out the vote in record numbers so we elect bold progressives up and down the ticket and across the country this November. May Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's memory be a blessing to all of us as we carry forward her incredible legacy.

In solidarity,

Pramila Jayapal
