Friend: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg dedicated her life to public service, and last night, after news broke of her passing, Americans from across the political spectrum shared moving tributes to her legacy. But not my opponents.

Kelly Loeffler and Doug Collins used her passing as a chance to score political points with their extreme right-wing base. Take a look at their first responses to the news:


These sad, desperate attempts to one-up each other - smearing Justice Ginsburg's legacy and thinking first about politics rather than people - make it clear: There is no room for politicians like Kelly Loeffler and Doug Collins in the U.S. Senate.

We need to bring decency, dignity and moral leadership back to Washington. That's exactly what our people-powered movement is all about, but we're counting on grassroots support to win - and we've never needed it more than we do right now.

The stakes in this election just got even higher. Justice is on the ballot. The future of the Supreme Court - and Ruth Bader Ginsburg's legacy - is on the ballot.

We need a Democratic Senate to ensure we have a Supreme Court that will protect the Affordable Care Act, Roe v. Wade, the environment, voting rights and so much more - and ending McConnell's majority all depends on us winning here in Georgia.

But in light of this news, you can be sure that our opponents will re-double their efforts to keep this seat red. Their attacks are going to get even uglier. If we're going to take on McConnell's SuperPAC and Loeffler's personal fortune, I need every single one of you standing with us right now. There's never been a more important moment for us to have grassroots support, so I'm asking:
