Dear John,
In the midst of this current madness, and the death of Ruth
Bader Ginsburg (rest in peace and dissent), we all need some
inspiration and our hearts and spirits nourished as we continue to
build the movement for peace. We Are
Many, is the never-before-told story of the
largest demonstration in human history when 30 million people in 800
cities around the world came out to protest against the impending Iraq
War. Monday night the peace community from around the world will
gather to reflect on the continued importance of organizing in our
local communities for peace. Reserve your ticket for the premiere of We Are Many
and support CODEPINK’s work here.
It has been nearly 20 years since we stood against the Iraq War and we remain committed to working to divest from the war machine in our local communities. It’s through engaging with our friends, neighbors, and local politicians that we were able to divest the city of San Luis Obispo. Our CODEPINK organizers are here with the resources and experience to help you engage locally to divest your city, school, or Congressperson from the war machine. Take our pledge to divest and get started locally here.
We hope you can join us and fill your heart and spirits with the uprising for peace we need for 2021 🕊️ Reserve your ticket for the premiere of We Are Many and support CODEPINK’s work here and keep the messages flowing that we need a president for peace.
