The latest jobs numbers were released yesterday – and it’s GREAT news.

Georgia added 21,700 jobs last month, and our unemployment rate fell to 5.7 percent!

That’s less than half where our state jobless rate stood in April, as the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc across our state and nation... and below the current national unemployment rate of 8.4 percent.

Since April, we’ve added more than 317,000 jobs.

Our balanced approach to COVID-19 here in Georgia helped us weather the worst of the storm as best we could... and has on us the right path to a rapid recovery!

There are many who’ve chosen to play pandemic politics over the last six months rather be part of the solution to protect both lives and livelihoods.

And now, with the 2020 elections just weeks away, they want to derail our success.

The D.C. Democrat and liberal groups are targeting Georgia like never before, to defeat President Trump and elect a liberal majority in the Georgia House of Representatives!
