Dear John,
I don't need to tell you what the stakes are this November.
And last night, with the devastating passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the stakes have only grown. Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell have made clear they will push forward a Supreme Court Justice nomination at all costs.
What's at stake is not just a vacant seat. What's at stake in the next 6 weeks is the vacating of the very principles upon which this country was founded. And to protect the same values that RBG fought for -- freedom, justice, and equality -- means we must do all we can to flip the Senate and defeat Trump.
Today, join the fight to flip the Senate by donating directly via NIAC Action to the Senate candidates [[link removed]] who will determine who has the majority in the next Congress. We also encourage you to donate directly to elect Joe Biden via NIAC Action here [[link removed]] .
Your donations will go directly to the candidates and be maximized by "bundling" them together so that candidates see they come from our community and in support of the issues important to us.
There is no time left to sit on the sidelines of this election. If we want to impact who sits in the White House, Senate, and on the Supreme Court, now is the time to give.
Only together, can we reclaim this country and restore the principles and values championed by the honorable RBG -- and oust those intent on eroding them no matter the cost.
Best,
Jamal Abdi
