Ughhh, I absolutely hate writing this. My heart feels so heavy right now but I know that I cannot lose faith...and we cannot falter...and we must prevail.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was larger than life. She was a powerhouse who served 27 years on the nation's highest court. She secured countless victories in the fight for justice, equality, and equity...for all Americans.

It's not an overstatement to say that the many bright spots in our country would not be possible today without the Notorious R.B.G. A legend and American hero; my personal shero.

But now, we move forward because it's what our Justice would've wanted, demanded even. Like Justice Ginsburg, who never gave up on us or the American dream, we must persevere no matter how the deck is stacked against us. This is why we must give Justice Ginsburg the flowers she deserves -- through our votes. In November, we'll cast our vote for racial justice, affordable health care, reproductive freedom, climate justice, our democracy, and the future of our country -- because that's what she would want us to do.

We vote to live, friend. We vote for Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
