Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a giant on the bench. She fought for equality with fire and strength, and she never backed down when folks’ rights were on the line.

We have her to thank for many of the great strides our country has made through the Supreme Court, and her example and advocacy advanced gender equality by immeasurable amounts.

This is an inexplicable loss. It hurts down to our core because she stood for everything we hold dear. But we must keep fighting for equity and justice. Anything less is an insult to her legacy.

So I’m calling on you to fight on. This fall, we must deal Donald Trump and his Republican Party a crushing defeat and move our country forward to fight for the most vulnerable among us, as Justice Ginsburg has always done.
