Last night, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Just hours after her death, Mitch McConnell threatened to ram through Donald Trump’s nominee this year and replace a pioneer who fought tirelessly for gender equality and women’s rights with someone who would take our country backwards.

This is the same Mitch McConnell who in 2016, refused to even give President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee a vote because it was an election year.

The stakes of this Supreme Court vacancy fight are enormous: our rights, our values, and our country’s future hang in the balance.

Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell aren’t the only things on the ballot in less than 50 days.
