Finally, some great news for Dr. Fauci: the Latino Commission on AIDS will award our leading infectious disease expert the Esperanza (Hope) Award at its virtual gala next month.
Guillermo Chacon, president of the Commission, said, “Dr. Fauci’s devotion to his work over the last four decades at NIAID, including the development of prevention strategies and treatment for HIV and AIDS, is profound.”
Well done, Dr. Fauci. You deserve to be honored for a lifetime of service.
