Friend: The passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an immeasurable loss that will be felt throughout our country. Her legacy of defending the most fundamental human rights from the Highest Court in the land will continue to inspire generations of Americans.

She understood that the moral arc of the universe bends toward justice, but only when we push.

Let me be clear, Senator McConnell set a precedent in 2016 and should be held to it now: no confirmation of a new Supreme Court Justice until after the inauguration in 2021.

That makes the stakes in this election higher than ever before, with the future of the Supreme Court hanging in the balance. We need a Democratic Senate to ensure we have a Supreme Court that will protect health care, Roe v. Wade, the environment and so much more. And in Georgia in particular, our fight for voting rights is on the line at the Supreme Court.

So, take a moment to grieve and reflect on what we've lost. And then let's recommit ourselves to this work and honor the legacy Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg leaves behind.

Thank you,

Reverend Warnock

P.S. The future of the Supreme Court and Georgia is at stake in this election and it's going to take all of us. So, join our campaign today and help protect our democracy.
