Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a pioneer who created an important legacy of progress, and her loss is profound.

Justice Ginsburg fought brilliantly to protect and expand the rights of women and will be long remembered for her intelligence, humanity, and tenacity in the face of anything that stood in the way of progress.

No matter the challenges, she never backed down and always fought for what she believed in with grace and perseverance. In a year of incalculable loss, let us pause to honor this remarkable woman who never backed down from a fight and was never afraid to stand up for what she believed.

My heart goes out to her family, colleagues, and loved ones.

May her memory be a blessing.
