As one of my biggest supporters, I want to be sure you saw President Trump's recent announcement to provide $3.6 billion dollars to construct 175 miles of border wall.

I visit the border frequently and each time I am reminded of the weak physical barriers, lack of technology and personnel, and large expanses of space available to drug and human traffickers. This needs to end now.

I am thankful for President Trump's courage to address this national emergency while Congress idly sits by and does nothing.
