We know that the GOP Senate majority is very vulnerable. Mitch McConnell himself admitted he has a “50-50” chance. That’s why he announced his plans to ram through another Supreme Court Justice less than two hours after we learned our hero, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, had passed away.

Mississippi has a real shot to be part of the blue wave that ends Mitch McConnell’s Senate reign. This is a 5-point race. But, unlike other top 2020 Democratic targets, party leaders are counting out the South and Black voters, signaling that they don’t think Mike can win.

With the elites counting us out, it truly is going to take a grassroots effort to flip the Senate. As Mike likes to say, “We can pray for change, but we also have to work for it.”
