City of Ann Arbor Update: Free Wood Chips for Residents Begins Sept. 19 & Leaf Disposal Information

Learn More Free wood chips will be available to Ann Arbor residents at five locations located around the city beginning Saturday, Sept. 19. As fall approaches, the city is also urging residents and contractors who must fill a lot of paper yard bags at once to bring the filled bags to the compost facility instead of leaving them at the curb. This will help protect public works staff who load bags by hand, and also will aid the city’s ability to service all properties.

2020 Census Logo Your community needs your help! The 2020 Census closes Sept. 30! If you haven't already ... Please respond TODAY to help ensure everyone in Ann Arbor is counted so our community receives proper funding and political representation. This year, completing your census form now, as opposed to waiting, is more important than ever. Census takers from our community will be visiting every household that has not responded. With COVID-19 causing us all to be more cautious with in-person interactions, your self-response - online, by mail or by phone - will prevent a census taker from having to visit you, and that would be much appreciated. Thank you to all who have already completed the 2020 Census and to those who plan to soon. BE COUNTED! Complete your 2020 Census today.
