There are so many words that could be used to describe Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but the best I can think of is this: a fighter.
She leaves behind an incredible legacy -- one of standing up for equality and justice for all Americans. It is thanks to her that we have many of the freedoms that we hold so dear, and we take tonight to reflect, honor, and grieve for the loss of such a fighter.
Tomorrow, we will be strong, and we'll fight to honor her legacy and protect our democracy -- just as Justice Bader Ginsburg fought all the way to the end.
But tonight -- let us reflect on the life of an incredible woman who we were lucky enough to share time with.
Grieve tonight, and fight tomorrow.
-- MJ
P.S. If you've been waiting to get involved, now is the time. The Supreme Court is on the ballot.

It's clear we need a real leader for Texas and a Senate that prioritizes our health care. More than ever, we're relying on online fundraising to keep building the campaign we need to win in November, and we greatly appreciate your continued support >> [link removed]
However, we know this is not an easy time for many. If you'd like to pause receiving fundraising emails for the next few weeks, please let us know here ([link removed]). We'll still keep in touch with important information and to ask your thoughts from time to time.
