My heart hurts, and my thoughts and prayers are with Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s family.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg paved the way for so many women, including myself. Her commitment to equity and gender equality changed our country. On the Supreme Court, she was our firewall to protect civil rights, voting rights, and everything that we fight for.

Tonight we mourn the loss of a giant, and tomorrow we must be determined to continue to fight for and honor her legacy by getting out to the polls, early if possible, and voting.

Rest in power, Ruth.
