Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg changed the world. Her tenacity, her independence, her intellect, and her fierce commitment to gender equity throughout her life and from the bench of the Supreme Court made America a more perfect Union.

I am holding her and her family in my heart tonight.

This evening, I am joining millions around the country in reflection of the life and work of Justice Ginsburg. Tomorrow, I will continue the work of building a democratic coalition that will win this November up and down the ballot.

The stakes have never been higher, especially when it comes to gender equity and reproductive freedom. Though tonight we will reflect and grieve, tomorrow we must return to work and fight harder than ever before because now the Supreme Court is on the ballot.
