News is breaking that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away after several years of battling significant health problems. Our condolences go out to her family.
Of course, we have to acknowledge the obvious: This raises the stakes of a presidential election in which the stakes were already sky-high.
Even a moderate Supreme Court appointee would move the court massively to the right, meaning religious liberty would be safeguarded and abortion on demand would almost certainly end.
