WHAT HAPPENED THIS WEEK

It's been another busy week for True the Vote!

  • We called on citizens to help ensure counties send their military ballots on time, and joined forces with Army veteran and Fox News host Pete Hegseth and former Navy Seal Eli Crane to raise awareness about the 45-day deadline.
  • We released a guide for voters in each state to learn about their state's election processes, key dates, and requirements.
  • We launched this infomercial on television in battleground states across the country. And we joined Fox & Friends yesterday to discuss our national campaign to drive citizen engagement in elections.
  • The segment captured the attention of many, including President Trump who tweeted and retweeted about True the Vote several times.

With Election Day only 46 days away, True the Vote has continued ramping up its efforts to fight for free and fair elections through citizen engagement. But there are efforts trying to stop us and attempting to silence us at every turn. Today we found out that Twitter suspended our account based on our tweet this week about military voting. We are an election integrity advocacy organization and this tweet was intended to send out information of public interest about deadlines for our military voters based on federal law. Is Twitter seeking to stifle organizations that are sharing factual information about our upcoming election? Or is Twitter punishing True the Vote after President Trump retweeted our post? Either way, True the Vote has appealed this violation and we need your help to demand that Twitter restore our account immediately so that we can continue sharing information that is critical to voters ahead of this important election.
