Well, John, I can’t say I’m surprised. Early voting begins in our district in less than three weeks -- and, like clockwork, Gil’s opponent recently released a deluge of misleading attack ads targeting Gil. This is the latest of Trump Republicans' last-ditch efforts to turn CA-39 red in November. And while I wouldn't normally be worried (our team anticipated these smear tactics), these ads have started gaining traction online. Not only that, John, but at our current online fundraising rate, we might not have the sufficient funds to set the record straight. So I’m coming to you, John.
