John, it was only a matter of time until Feenstra started making up lies and putting words in J.D.'s mouth.

Feenstra sees that J.D. is running a campaign that can win -- and that’s why his first ad of the general campaign is attacking us.

But when campaigns run negative ads and traffic lies and hate to voters, we think it says a lot about the content of their character. If you can't win without lying and attacking -- what can we expect from Randy Feenstra in Congress?

At the end of the day, maybe Feenstra's only chance of winning is by lying about what we're fighting for. Because if he ran ads about what he stands for, it would be clear that he’s at the beck and call of corporations and party leaders.

He can't call himself a champion of working families, because he's deep in the pockets of corporate PACs (including companies owned by China). He can't say he'll put Iowans first, because he's accepted tens of thousands of dollars from Party Leadership PACs. And he certainly can't say he'll fight for change in Iowa, at best, he can offer us as another yes-man for Donald Trump.
