You may have seen the news today. 

Governor Baker has endorsed Susan Collins for Senate in Maine.

Yes, that same Susan Collins who voted for Brett Kavanaugh. The same Susan Collins who voted for Donald Trump’s tax giveaway. The same Susan Collins who will help keep Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader.

But for me, what’s worse - and why Collins really needs to go - is that for four years she has refused to stand up to and speak out against countless illegal and corrupt acts by Donald Trump. In this moment of history, silence is acquiescence and a perpetuator of conduct that Collins once swore an oath to reject. History will reflect her abdication of the responsibility to uphold basic fundamentals of democracy and the rule of law.

Let’s be clear - a vote for Susan Collins is a vote for Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump’s agenda. 

So no, Susan Collins isn’t good for Maine or our country, and she sure isn’t good for Massachusetts.

That’s why I urge you to support Sara Gideon for Senate in Maine. 

Join me in supporting Sara and sending a message that Susan Collins is wrong for Maine AND Massachusetts.
