Abigail’s opponent has made it clear that he will always put the interests of the president and his party before the needs of the Seventh District. Now, the president has taken to Twitter to try and drive up support.

Trump’s tweet just opened a floodgate of national interest in our race. We need to counter this influx of attention and out-of-state cash to keep Abigail’s positive message at the forefront of this race. 

Abigail's opponent is beholden not just to Trump, but to the Trump brand of political division. He takes extremism and obstructionism right out of the President’s playbook.

The voters of VA-07 rejected this type of politics in 2018, in favor of Abigail’s steady leadership and ability to bring people together for meaningful solutions. 

This race isn’t about tweets. This race is about the people of the Seventh District, and we are running a campaign that puts them first by bypassing the partisan distractions in favor of open conversations, community engagement, and on-the-ground organizing.
