Tonight begins Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Not only is today a day for celebration and joy, but it is also a day for reflection on the year past and hope for a sweet new year ahead.

5780 has been a hard year on us as a city, state, and nation. We’ve experienced suffering, but we’ve also seen incredible resilience, strength and kindness in our communities. Together, we continue to move forward with optimism in our hearts and resolve to make our corner of the world a better place.
