The role of United States Attorney General is to represent the nation in its legal matters. Instead, Attorney General Bill Barr is doing Trump’s dirty work. This type of abuse of our institutions is nothing new from the Trump Administration, but Barr’s latest acts are particularly egregious:

1. Barr is actively trying to influence the election by falsely attacking mail-in and absentee voting.

2. Barr directed the Department of Justice to intervene in one of Trump’s personal lawsuits. It’s clear he’d rather protect Trump than uphold the rule of law.

3. He compared the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders to slavery. This one doesn’t even deserve further explanation -- it's just absurd and offensive.

The only way we stop Barr’s abuse of power is by removing Trump from office and electing Joe Biden -- plain and simple.
