Hi there,

I come from a military family. My dad was a pilot and a Marine and dedicated more than 25 years of service to this country. So I know exactly what kind of sacrifices our veterans and military community have made for this country.

And I'll be honest with you: hearing President Donald J. Trump — our "Commander-in-Chief" — call our veterans "losers" and "suckers" made my blood boil.

He's wrong. Service to your community and to your country is at the foundation of what makes this country great. That's why I'm so proud that EMILY's List has an incredible slate of veterans who are ready to serve their country all over again in elected office.
