I got into this race because I didn’t see our state’s so-called leaders like Sen. Cornyn working for the people he’s supposed to represent. As a working mom and combat veteran, I understand the struggles working families across Texas deal with every day -- and we know Sen. Cornyn isn’t fighting for us.

When Sen. Cornyn voted 20 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act -- and even now in a pandemic standing by as his allies work to gut the law in court -- he's shown us he’s working for big insurance companies, not for Texans.

When Sen. Cornyn accepted a large donation from the NRA shortly after a deadly mass shooting in our state and then refused to take even modest action on gun violence, he showed us he’s working for the gun lobby, not for Texans.

When Sen. Cornyn watered down his own drug pricing legislation after taking numerous huge donations from pharmaceutical companies’ corporate PACs, he showed us he’s working for Big Pharma, not for Texans.

It’s no wonder a recent poll found Sen. Cornyn ahead by just one point. He’s beatable -- but he’s seen the numbers too, and he’s calling in big favors from friends like the Koch network.
