John,
We’re witnessing a scale of lawlessness from the White House that we’ve never seen before in our lifetimes.
In response to Trump’s escalating, authoritarian tactics — nine Real Justice endorsed District Attorneys signed onto an open letter calling out Trump on the violence and disorder he has created in our communities.
Real Justice candidates are leading the fight to challenge Trump’s lawless, racist agenda. We are counting on them more than ever to push forward our fight to dismantle systems of oppression and white supremacy. When reform candidates are elected, they have incredible power to lead from within against racist systems that drive injustice.
It’s critical we defend and reelect these courageous reformers — they’re going to be heavily targeted with attacks and opposition leading up to their elections.

Real Justice endorsed leaders — Larry Krasner, Mike Schmidt, Rachael Rollins, Stephanie Morales, Joe Gonzales, Kimberly Gardner, Kim Foxx, Chesa Boudin, and Wesley Bell reaffirmed their commitment to fighting against this dangerous agenda in the open letter they signed yesterday:
“For those of us who are progressive prosecutors and support a movement for criminal justice reform deeply rooted in equality, the phrase “law and order” uttered by a President hell bent on destroying our legal institutions while he steers us toward chaos is especially galling. Expect him to attack the movement we lift up for good reason. We represent an existential threat to the lawlessness and disorder that define him and his failed political party.”
Our Real Justice endorsed leaders have made it clear that they will fight harder than ever to challenge this agenda and implement measures to protect Brown and Black people from Trump’s dangerous message.
But they can’t do this work without our help, John. Trump has already started throwing direct attacks on our candidates and has been rallying his base to stop our momentum. His supporters have sent death threats to Kim Gardner, the Circuit Attorney of St. Louis. Trump even called out Larry Krasner, the District Attorney of Philadelphia, at a campaign rally as the “worst District Attorney.”
Together,
Real Justice
