Dear Law Students,

Student Chapter Kick-off Event

Join us for the Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Chapter Kickoff – an online event exclusively for law students. We’ll introduce you to the Animal Law Program team, preview resources to get your chapter started advocating for animals in this new online environment, and, along with Alicia Prygoski, Animal Legal Defense Fund Legislative Affairs Manager, discuss federal legislative updates and how chapters can get involved in assisting with legislative efforts that support animal protection. This will be an interactive event, with surprises throughout, and we encourage chapters to watch together (remotely!) as part of an online watch party. We look forward to having you join us!

Legislative Affairs Clerkships

We are currently hiring Legislative Affairs Program clerks for this academic year! Clerkships are part-time (5-10 hours/week), remote, and include a stipend of $500/month.

Keep Your Chapter's Active Status

Please submit your chapter's update by October 1 to keep your active status.

Student Chapter Program Guide

Each year, the Animal Legal Defense Fund provides resources to help its student chapters focus on a specific priority issue. The Student Chapter Program Guide contains an overview of the issue and suggested activities. This year’s priority issue is Organizing for Animals in the Digital Age.
