Our great police show over and over why they are the bravest and greatest among us. Over 28,000 brave first responders are currently risking their lives to fight fires in California, Oregon and Washington.
But for a mob of far-Left cop killers in LA, that kind of noble sacrifice was worthy of a death penalty, with no trial.
President Trump has always stood up for our First Reponders. just a few days ago he signed legislation protecting First Responders who die of COVID, and their families:
Two Los Angeles police officers are recovering in hospital after being shot in what police are calling an ambush.
Video of the incident shows a figure approach the officers' vehicle, before opening fire and running away.
Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva called the act "cowardly". The suspect remains at large.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has announced a $100,000 reward for any information leading to the gunman's arrest.
Almost 40 US police officers were killed in the line of duty in 2020, FBI statistics show - eight of them were victims of an ambush.
Protesters shouted anti-police slogans and blocked the entrance to the emergency room where the two officers were being treated, police and witnesses said.
Two people were arrested, including a journalist who police said tried to interfere with the arrest of the other detainee and did not identify herself as a member of the press.
How would you treat the would-be assassins of two innocent deputies? Would you reward them and lionize them, as AOC does?
Or would you stop them, arrest them, convict them of attempted murder and punish them to the fullest extent of the law?

I have been attacked in recent days by the Fake News Media, for suggesting that these savage and inhuman extremist criminals should be brought to justice. The media would rather these deputies die because that's the anti-cop spin they foment.
The Soros-aligned Fake News Media is actually trying to say that these criminals, these would-be murderers, should be made heroes - and the innocent deputies deserved to die at their hands.
They make me sick. We need to stand and fight the radical Left, including the radical Left media, who hate our First Responders.
My Soros-backed opponent is taking money from all of these groups who are also supporting the riots. Her radical allies in the media want Arizona to be Portland! They apparently are ok with killing police so that domestic terrorists can attack our innocent people and destroy our communities.
These monsters actually stopped people from getting into the hospital, shouting "we hope they f---ing die" at the police that they had shot.
Each of these people should be charged with accessory to murder and put on trial. It's time we made an example of these idiots instead of lionizing them like the media and the far - far - Left has done.
There was literally an effort by the left to defund the Flagstaff Police Department. Thankfully, we defeated it!
The left dishonors the First Responders who give their lives to protect us. As a veteran, I understand and salute those who sacrifice for us!
I was one of the first 100 women to fly in the Air Force. My service took courage, courage that the Soros Left and the Fake News Media does not have. That same courage will serve me well in the Arizona Senate, where I will likewise not be bullied by those who would do Arizona harm!
