AJC Washington meets with German Ambassador to the U.S. Emily Haber
Advocacy Corner
Locally, we continue to meet with Maryland, Virginia, and D.C.
government and diplomats to combat antisemitism and hate crimes and
protect Israel's place in the world by designating Hezbollah as a
terrorist organization. Over the past few months, AJC Regional Board
members have met with 15 congressional offices and six embassies. If

ACCESS Zoom meeting
This summer, ACCESS DC and NY joined together to host Sharing Stories:
The Struggle for Racial Justice. Partners from Jewish Multiracial
Network, Mission Reconcile, New York Urban League Young Professionals,
and Thursday Network, spoke about their experiences as individuals of
color, the importance of recognizing privilege and bias, and the role
of allies in the movement.

The ALEF program brings together a small, focused cohort of young
leaders to learn about diplomacy, congressional advocacy, and
combating antisemitism around the world. ALEF DC participants will
