I’ve been so inspired by the courage Lorenzo’s sons, Ronaldo Salgado and Lorenzo Salgado Jr., have shown, and how they’ve honored their dad’s legacy. I know I’m not alone. People all across the country see what ICE is doing to families like Lorenzo’s, and they are furious and heartbroken.

We must channel that anger and pain into a clear demand for change. We must elect a Democratic Congress that has the authority to conduct necessary oversight into ICE’s criminal actions. And we must abolish this lethal, rogue agency once and for all.
