In just a minute, I will personally ask you to add a contribution to our grassroots campaign for U.S. Senate. But first, let me explain why this is so important:
Donald Trump is in Minnesota today to campaign for our opponent, just as I’m preparing to face off with Jason Lewis at our debate.
Look, I know exactly why Trump decided to come back at this particular moment in our race. Two consecutive polls show us locked in a statistical tie and a major election forecaster moved our race to a “Toss-up.” So, Trump is trying to shake me right before I go toe-to-toe with his hand-picked candidate.
The Trump campaign is laser-focused on flipping Minnesota red because his re-election chances depend on it. Sinking our campaign and replacing me with a right-wing extremist like Lewis would just be the cherry on top.
That’s why I’m expecting Trump to attack me personally again at today’s rally. And with GOP dark money groups spending nearly $1 million to defeat our campaign right now, there’s no doubt they’ll amplify whatever he says.
We need every available resource to fight back. The only way we can counter Trump and the GOP’s massive war chest is by collecting as many grassroots donations as possible. So, I’m personally asking you:
