We are delighted to invite you to the third annual Liberty Lecture on Thursday
24 September from 6-7pm.

Liberty, alongside the Royal Holloway English Department, and the Institute of
English Studies, are hosting leading voices to discuss human rights, civil
liberties and the impact of the Covid-19 crisis.

Joining Martha Spurrier is the multi-award-winning novelist, political
commentator, and activist Elif Shafak, and the Director of the Being Human
festival and humanities professor at the University of London Sarah Churchwell.

Their discussion will be followed by a Q&A session. This is your opportunity as
a Liberty member to ask Elif, Sarah, and Martha questions about their work and
their thoughts on rights and freedoms. Questions can be submitted when
registering for tickets.

You can secure your place for free and read more about the speakers by either
clicking the invite below, or going to [link removed]

Kind regards,

Flora Milligan
