If we’re going to defeat the science-deniers in NY-01, then I need you with me now. 

Trump and the GOP have attempted to take health care away from millions of Americans in the middle of a pandemic, politicized public health data, ousted whistleblowers from their roles, and completely sidelined scientists and the experts -- all in order to advance their false narrative and try to stay in power.

Now, while the worst wildfires in history burn up and down the West Coast, a longtime climate-denier has been hired to fill a key role at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Trump’s solution is to assure us that “it’ll get cooler.” Is that like when he assured us that the coronavirus is “just like the flu?”

It’s clearer than ever that we need more scientists leading in Washington. We cannot afford to lose this race and allow the GOP to continue undermining facts and data. But winning won’t be easy -- and I need you with me.

Voters across our district are responding positively to our campaign’s pro-science, pro-health care message. We know the people of Long Island are ready for leaders who trust the experts and believe in science.
 
We’re facing our end-of-week digital fundraising goal tonight. Hitting our goal will help us stay on track to reach tens of thousands of voters as they begin turning in their ballots through the mail or heading to the polls.
