Friend–

After disavowing mask-wearing, ignoring the recommendations of health experts, and knowingly downplaying the risks of the COVID-19 pandemic, it should be no surprise that President Trump and Tommy Tuberville are again risking American lives by outright attacking science.

Wildfires are forcing thousands from their homes up and down the West Coast, just as devastating hurricanes have displaced families across the Gulf Coast. The overwhelming scientific consensus recognizes that these disasters are inextricably linked to man-made climate change.

Despite the devastating harm that climate change is doing to Americans today – not to mention to our future generations – Trump and Tuberville refuse to acknowledge it exists at all. Keep climate deniers out of the Senate >> [[link removed]]

Just look at what Tuberville has said on the issue:

– In October 2019, Tuberville told a journalist, “we don’t have climate change here” because “there is one person that changes climate in this country and that is God;”
– In November 2019, Tuberville Tweeted that college climate protests were the result of “liberal academia indoctrinating our kids;”
– In April, he even claimed that the COVID-19 pandemic is a biowarfare experiment committed by proponents of the Green New Deal – he said, “Everything is kind of clearing up. There’s no airplanes in the air. There’s no cars on the roads. I think it might be an experiment for the Green New Deal.”

If this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that we need leaders who prioritize science over politics when lives are at risk. It’s clear Tommy Tuberville will do anything but.

Doug Jones has proven that not only does he believe in science, he’s willing to stand up for it in the Senate. Pitch in to keep Doug in the Senate and keep Tuberville’s climate denial out >> [[link removed]]
