To Lead Implementation of Organizational Strategic Plan
September 17, 2020 - Richardson, TX: The board of the Muslim Legal Fund of America (MLFA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Arshia Ali-Khan to the role of Interim CEO. In her new capacity, Ms. Ali-Khan will work closely with MLFA’s Executive Director and the MLFA board of directors to provide leadership and strategic oversight as MLFA implements its strategic plan to enhance organizational efficiency, infrastructure, and capacity to meet the demands of its mission. Ms.
Ali-Khan, who will also continue to serve as MLFA’s Chief Development Officer, brings over 15 years of experience in development, fundraising, and nonprofit leadership. Ms. Ali-Khan was recently selected as a participant in the inaugural Zakat Foundation Institute (ZFI) Muslim Philanthropy and Humanitarian Studies Fellowship through the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. She is also a participating member of the Community Collaborative Initiative (CCI), also through the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative.
