This was all predictable — this is the result of years of a status quo that puts profits over people and corporations over the wellbeing of our communities. It is the result of failed leadership and an unwillingness to champion a bold vision that lifts people up and achieves true economic, social, racial, gender, and environmental justice. We can't just stand by and watch as a cruel, for-profit health care system leaves more than 87 million people uninsured or underinsured.
